Pixoot Skill Tree Guide: 189 Nodes, Glyph Arts and Ultimates

Every hunter earns skill points by levelling and doing quests, then spends them on one big shared web of 189 nodes. This guide covers how that web is shaped, what each tier of node does, and what it costs to change your mind.

How the tree is shaped

Open the tree with the skills panel and you get a Path-of-Exile-style starburst rather than a list: 189 nodes joined by 252 edges. Eight arms of 20 nodes each radiate out from the free Origin node at the centre, and each arm ends in an Ultimate keystone. Five of the arms also carry a four-rank Glyph Art branch off their fourth node, and rungs link neighbouring arms at several points along the way, so you can cut across the circle instead of walking a single arm end to end.

Allocation is strict about connectivity: a node can only be bought if it is attached to a neighbour you have already taken, and Origin is granted to a fresh hero without spending anything. You earn +1 skill point per level-up and extra points from quests, XP follows floor(25 × level^1.35), and the level cap is 200. One rule catches most new players out — points are shared between tree nodes and glyph levels, so a point spent levelling a glyph in the Glyph Book is a point not spent here.

The ten tier-1 passives

Most nodes along the arms are plain stat passives. Each arm cycles through the same ten in a fixed pattern, so every arm offers the same raw stats — the difference between arms is where the Glyph Art and Ultimate at the end of it land.

PassiveEffect
Strength+10% damage
Vitality+20 max HP
Agility+5% move & attack speed
Luck+4% crit, +8% loot
Armor+4% damage reduction
Evasion+3% dodge chance
Vampirism+2% damage as life
Haste-3% cooldown
Impact+5% area of effect
Piercing+4% damage to elites & bosses

Glyph Arts: five disciplines, four ranks each

Glyph Arts are the tree's spell layer. Unlike a passive, a Glyph Art buffs every glyph and base ability you own, and the four ranks of a branch stack — take all four and you get the total. Each discipline is hosted by one ability-themed arm: Conduit on the Nova arm, Surge on the Spear arm, Resonance on the Zap arm, Aegis on the Ward arm and Ruin on the Trap arm.

DisciplinePer-rank values (1 → 4)
Conduit+5%, +7%, +9%, +12% glyph damage
Surge-0.35s, -0.45s, -0.55s, -0.65s glyph cooldown (-2.0s total)
Resonance+6%, +8%, +10%, +13% glyph area
Aegis+7% to +14% duration, +5% to +11% healing
Ruin+1 chain per rank, +4% to +10% slow & stun

The eight Ultimates

One keystone closes each arm. Ultimates are not stat sticks — they change how casts behave, and several trade a downside for their power:

Spending points, and getting them back

Buying a node spends one point. Refunding one costs gold instead: 50 + allocatedNodes × 3 per node, so an early respec is cheap and a full one is not. The panel's RESET ALL NODES? confirmation clears the whole web in one step and tells you the gold cost up front, and the search box — "Search nodes by name, stat or ability..." — filters the web so you can find one node in 189 without squinting.

Plan a build around a keystone first and work backwards: the arm that ends in the Ultimate you want, the Glyph Art branch that supports your glyphs, then fill in tier-1 passives for the stats you are missing.
