Pixoot Crafting Guide: The Forge, 194 Recipes and Dismantle

The Forge turns the materials you earn by playing into gear, consumables and crafting materials of your own. This guide walks through the recipe list, what everything costs, the upgrade chain and the dismantle table.

Opening the Forge

Press the FORGE button in the HUD, or hit F, and the panel opens with two tabs — RECIPES and DISMANTLE — plus a "Search recipes..." box for finding one of 194 recipes quickly. Recipes that you can afford light up; anything short shows a NEED MATERIALS button instead of CRAFT. They fall into nine categories:

Four currencies, all earned by play

Recipes are paid in Gold, Essence, Shards and Orbs — and all four come from the game itself. Gold falls from kills and piles; essence drops regularly from ordinary enemies and far more often from rare and champion ones; shards are rarer still; orbs come off bosses. Nothing here is bought with real money: the only things that cost money in Pixoot are cosmetics.

If you are short on materials there are conversion recipes in the materials list — turning gold into essence, shards or orbs — and bonus recipes that open a pouch or cask for a guaranteed handful of currency.

What recipes cost

Weapon and armor recipes follow a simple formula: 2 + (tier × 3) Essence and tier Shards. A tier-0 Wood weapon is 2 Essence and no shards; a tier-3 Ancient weapon is 11 Essence and 3 Shards.

The expensive end is legendary. Legendary Core costs 15 Essence + 10 Shards + 4 Orbs, Enchant Stone costs 10 Essence + 6 Shards + 2 Orbs, and every Forge: <Legendary> recipe needs one of each plus 6 Orbs. That is where a stack of dismantled epics goes.

Upgrades, boosts and rerolls

Upgrade recipes walk one piece of gear up a material ladder: Wood → Copper → Iron → Steel → Crystal → Dragon → Shadow → Ancient. Pick the item from your bag, pay the recipe, and it comes back as the new tier — with its properties rolled fresh inside the new tier's ranges, exactly like a fresh drop, while its forge bonuses carry over.

Two limits matter. Each item can only take two upgrades before the forge refuses it, so choose between a material step and a stat boost — flat damage, HP, crit, speed, loot, lifesteal, thorns or cooldown reduction — and plan the pair. A Reroll Stats recipe is the way back: it re-rolls an item's own properties within its ranges and clears the forge bonuses.

The dismantle table

The DISMANTLE tab shows every item in your bag with what it would pay back. Higher rarity pays more, and the top two rarities start paying orbs:

RarityEssenceShardsOrbs
Common1–2——
Uncommon2–41–2—
Rare4–72–4—
Epic6–104–71–2
Legendary10–158–123–5

One rule keeps crafting honest: a recipe that makes gear produces a brand-new item with freshly rolled properties — the same ±15% spread every piece of loot gets — rather than upgrading something you fed in. Only the upgrades category works on an item you already own.

Where to go next

Break down what you do not use, save orbs for legendaries, and let the forge fill the gaps in your bag. Play Pixoot free in your browser to open the Forge on your first hunter, and read the full How to play guide for loot, quests and the rest of the menus.
